In the spirit of truly embracing our theme for this year of Rediscover, we have re-aligned some of our categories to better align with your work.
This year, we will also have some single-tactic marketing campaign categories in case your marketing performs well in one area. We want to recognize the best San Antonio has to offer!
Submit your BEST marketing tactics and advertising campaigns from 2023 to the AMA San Antonio's Marketing Excellence Awards (MEAs) to win!
There are a total of 12 categories to represent San Antonio's key industries and certain single-tactics. A Wild Card category may be established if we do not receive adequate nominations in any given category. Every submission will be automatically entered into Best in Show for the submission with the highest judging score. All MEAs submissions are automatically entered into Best in Show.
An AMA Board from another city will judge the industry and single tactic categories in another city to ensure impartiality.
If there are any confidential data points in your entry, please indicate them to us so that we can ensure that they are not shared in the program and are only used for judging purposes.

HOW TO ENTER
Make Payment. Purchase your entry or entries here. You are not limited to the number of categories you can enter. Payment and entry form must be received by the deadline for submissions to be considered. No refunds will be issued.
Complete Entry Form. Download the entry form located in the link below and complete one form per entry. Every entry requires a separate form and confirmation of payment.
Submit. Email contact.justinclark@gmail.com AND copy president@amasanantonio.org. Attach your payment confirmation and all of your entry forms. The submitter is responsible for confirming payment and entry forms were successfully received. A confirmation email will be provided.
Await News. Stay tuned for the announcement of the finalists in May 2024 and event details for the June 2024 award ceremony, where winners will be announced!
ELIGIBILITY
The Marketing Excellence Awards are open to all San Antonio-area marketing and advertising professionals. AMA membership is not required to participate (but membership never hurts anyone)
There is no limit to the number of marketing tactics or campaigns that can be submitted. Campaigns can also be entered into multiple categories; however, each entry requires individual payment.
The work/campaign must be completed by a San Antonio-area firm, business, agency, or organization or for a client based in the San Antonio area during 2023.

6. Nonprofit (501c3)/Governmental
7. Agency (work completed by an agency IN SAN ANTONIO for a client)
8. Social Media Focused Campaigns
9. Content Marketing Campaigns
10. Branding/Rebrand
11. Single tactic - Out of home
12. Single tactic - Radio/TV
Best in Show: Awarded to the highest scoring entry across all categories. Submission is automatically entered when entering any other category.

Eligibility
The MEAs are open to all San Antonio-area marketing professionals. AMA membership is not required in order to participate.

The work/campaign must be completed by a San Antonio-area firm, business, agency, or organization or for a client in the San Antonio DMA. The campaign must have run in the year previous to the award ceremony. (Ex. MEAs 2024 will honor campaigns that ran/were executed in 2023)
Awards Ceremony
All winners will be announced at the Marketing Excellence. Awards Celebration in June (exact date and location TBD).
Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and (if applicable) honorable mention in each category
