AMA San Antonio 17-18 President, Vanessa
On July 1, I officially began my term as president of the San Antonio Chapter of the American Marketing Association. As I embark upon this yearlong journey, I’m thrilled about what is in store for our chapter and the San Antonio marketing community at-large.
Over the years, AMA San Antonio has proven to be a leading resource for marketers across the nation and within our own city. (I, myself, am a product of this great organization.) With that said, I vow to do my best to uphold the mission of the organization and continue building on the successes of my predecessors. Luckily, I am not alone in this task.

During our planning retreat in June, I set out three main strategic goals for the 2017-2018 term:
Create chapter longevity
Build financial health
Deliver on brand promise
This year, our Board will work together to meet these goals. To help motivate us along the way, we have adopted #SeriouslyStrong as our rallying cry. Watch this video and you will see why.
