Greetings AMA San Antonio Members,
Happy Marketing Week! As this year’s President, I have the distinct honor to welcome you to the new chapter year for the American Marketing Association that began this summer. I take the helm of a nationally recognized and award-winning chapter comprised of San Antonio’s top marketing professionals. (That’s you!) As leaders and the greatest influencers of business in San Antonio, AMA is your support system and greatest resource.
Our theme this year is #Revolution because we will help you change the way marketing is done.
We have some great things planned for you, like our monthly luncheons, signature mixers, professional excellence events, and a few surprises here and there. Our goal this year is to serve and empower our Members as you revolutionize marketing.
To lead the revolution, I am pleased to announce that we have assembled an outstanding group of San Antonio marketing professionals who will serve as your 2019-2020 Board of Directors. Our incoming Board represents a wonderful cross-section of industries such as Healthcare, Higher Education, Nonprofit, Military, and representation from Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations Agencies. I cannot wait for you to meet your new Board Members at our upcoming events.
Lastly, and most importantly, I’d like to acknowledge and personally thank the many volunteers that came before us, especially our Past President, CJ Craig and last year’s board members. All of our volunteers have given their all to get our chapter to where it is today and we recognize that we stand on their shoulders.
We’re a 100% volunteer-driven organization and we rely on a dedicated team to help us achieve our goals. To that end, we’re always looking for help, and our new board is actively seeking folks to join our teams and committees to drive the #Revolution forward. Please contact us if you are interested in a volunteer role this year. We’d love to have you on board!
