AMA San Antonio 2018-2019 President
Welcome to the American Marketing Association New Year! On July 1, I began my term as president of the San Antonio chapter of AMA. I’m delighted to be leading the chapter alongside an incredible group of volunteers who make up your Board of Directors.
When I first joined the board two years ago, our focus was on rebuilding the chapter and our presence in the community. Through determination, dedication, and passion, the Board of Directors proved that they were a #SeriouslyStrong group of individuals and turned the chapter around. Thanks to the incredible leadership from past presidents — Jason Ellis and Vanessa Torres — and to our members (like you!), we are now a nationally recognized and award-winning chapter of the American Marketing Association.
This Year’s Theme and Objectives
This year’s theme is #Amplify, and I’m truly thrilled for what’s in store for our members. We will continue to build upon the strong foundation that has been laid while focusing on creating new opportunities for members. From national speakers, to a new professional development series, we will be “turning everything up a notch.”
In doing so, our Board’s objectives this year will be:
1) Enhancing membership and sponsorship value through AMA experiences and benefits
2) Chapter growth, sustainability, and longevity
3) Financial health
Our Vow
Over the years, AMA San Antonio has proven to be a leading resource for marketing across the nation and our community, and we will continue the mission of being “the most relevant force and voice shaping marketing“ for our members. Through quality, relevant, and timely topics, we will continue to work towards being your trusted marketing resource.
Most of all, I hope that we continue to inspire your creativity, enhance your experience, and empower your curiosity.
I look forward to seeing you at upcoming events! Stay tuned for more information on upcoming luncheons, mixers, and more on our Facebook, Instagram, and website.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me at president@AMASanAntonio.org if there is anything I can do for you.
Cheers,
CJ Craig
