Caterpillar Industrial Power Systems Division is responsible for the marketing, sales and manufacture of industrial engines for the Cat and Perkins brands. The Seguin Engine Facility produces the 9 – 18 liter engines for both brands globally, and is the headquarters for the Americas sales team and much of the division’s key marketing and dealer support personnel. This is your unique opportunity to tour a state-of- the-art 1.5 million square feet manufacturing facility, learn about Caterpillar’s investment in the Customer Experience and see how they leverage their global marketing efforts in support of their world-class products. Senior marketing leaders will greet attendees, guide
them on the factory tour, discuss marketing structure, programs and strategies. Recruiters will provide a unique opportunity to learn about their national Management Training Program.
This is a special event targeting collegiate members, but which may also be of interest to Professional Members.
Let us do the driving!
We are arranging a party bus to drive attendees from UTSA campus (with pickup locations at 1604 @ 281 intersection, 1604 @I-35 intersection, and 1604 @ I-10 intersection) to and from the Caterpillar in Seguin 30 miles east of San Antonio).
Includes soft drinks and snacks.
Caterpillar representatives will join us on the bus to provide an overview of the company and upcoming events, and answer questions. So plan to “come along for the ride” and learn while you ride and snack!

About the Speaker:
Frank Guerra, Founder and Lead Strategist for GDC Marketing & Ideation, combines his vast background and expertise in political-style marketing, corporate marketing and human-centered research to develop innovative business solutions for key clients in sectors ranging from telecommunications and retail to health care and technology. Recognizing the need for businesses to find new ways to succeed in the current economic environment, Frank leads GDC Marketing & Ideation to change the very model of how a marketing and communications agency interfaces with and advances clients and their business challenges.
