The San Antonio Chapter of the American Marketing Association hosts one of San Antonio’s “godfathers” of Hispanic marketing, Lionel Sosa, at the April networking and professional development luncheon on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Smoke The Restaurant Downtown.

The Commission, led by a formidable team, is tasked with planning the city’s 300th anniversary celebration set to begin in 2018. He, along with members from the Tricentennial team, will address the audience to discuss how the Commission’s unique marketing efforts will showcase San Antonio on the national stage.
The author of “Think and Grow Rich: a Latino Choice” (among others), Sosa has been a Hispanic Media Consultant in seven Republican presidential campaigns and is a recognized expert in Hispanic consumer and voter behavior. He was named one of the “25 Most Influential Hispanics in America” by Time Magazine and is a member of the Texas Business Hall of Fame.
Previously, Sosa chaired both the United Way of San Antonio and the San Antonio Symphony.
